Chapter 61. I took the crying Katli into my arms and rocked him gently. When his crying subsided he fell asleep and when we reached the Polices station,his father took him from me and we went in. Tlotli told him why he wanted a protection order against his Ex and the officer scribbled it all down on paper. Then She did the same with me and I told her pretty much the same story. She signed and stamped the documents and we headed to court. At court there was no que and it was close to lunch time. We reached the domestic violence office and the door was closed. There was a notice on it that read NO APPLICATIONS AFTER 13:00 I looked at my phone and it was a minute to it. Tlotli knocked on the door and a female voice answered. Read the notice. Im on lunch. Tlotli pushed the door open and let himself in,I followed him. Good people,Im on lunch. Come back tomorrow unless its an emergency. Please. the lady said without even looking at us.
