Chapter Four: my first crush? “Kate, where are you!?” Kayla shouted for me but I didn’t answer because I was outside hanging out with Citrine again. “Hmm I might go check outside I mean I have checked everywhere else” Kayla walked outside annoyed because she was having a hard time trying to find me. Once she walks outside she sees me and Citrine and gets mad and runs up to us. “What the hell!?” I look back seeing Kayla angry and staring down at us, I wave my hand a little frighten. “I have been looking all over for you!” I stare at Kayla feeling bad that she was looking all over for me, I stand up and say. “I’m sorry Kayla I have been hanging out with Citrine lately and I should of told you where I was going” Kayla stared at me and nodded and said to come find her in two hours, I was shocked how quickly her mood changed after I apologized I was starting to think maybe she was bipolar. I shrugged and sat back down next to Citrine. “What’s her deal?” Citrine asked a little ticked off, “I think I might have forgot about something and because had to look everywhere to find me” I said sad tone. Citrine looking at me with his sky blue eyes “Why do you look sad Kate?” Citrine asked I just shook my head and changed the subject to asking what his name was before he died and became an angel. He told me his name was James Caroline Smith, but after he became an angel he chose a completely different name and now it was Citrine Killer Swordsman. I asked why it was all killing related he said it’s because he wanted people to know death is scary he guesses, I stared at him feeling bad for him because of how he died and what he went through on earth. “What?” Citrine asked as I stare at him with sad eyes, “What!? Did I say something wrong?” He started freaking out thinking I might start crying, I shook my head and hugged him knowing I would probably know pain like him but I wanted to try and comfort him as best as I could even if he didn’t want me to. “Umm are you sure you’re okay? You act like your sad” Citrine said to me blushing and rubbing the back of his head. As I look up at him and seeing him blush I giggle a bit and he asked what was so funny I said “The big bad Citrine is blushing, are you turning soft because you’re hanging out with a girl who is equally matched to you?” He gave me a dirty look and then started laughing like crazy; I asked what was so funny he told me I would never be as equally matched as him. I crossed my arms and asked if that was a challenge, he said “Bring it cupcake” I gave him a dreadful look and said “Cupcake?” He laughed more and said I was sweet as candy and couldn’t hurt a fly therefore I would never be equally matched as him. I said “You, me sword duel in half an hour!” he stared at me shocked because no girl has ever been brave enough to even back talk him or say no to him. “If that’s really what you want, I won’t hold back just because you’re a girl just so you know” still having my arms crossed I told him to bring his game face and might want to bring so healing angels from his realm because he’s going to need some major healing after I’m done with him. He laughed and said “This is why I like you, you’re not scared to fight me, you can say no to me and not be afraid. You really are something special” He looked at me smiling, “I will not duel you, you have shown me just by your words you can be a great fighter but remember fighting is not always just words” he stuck his tong out at me and I told him “I know that I’m not stupid” I stuck my tong back out at him. All of a sudden my Half-Brother Zaang flies in “Citrine what the hell!? Are you bugging my sister again!?” Zaang flew in hard and gliding down to where he smashed Citrine into the ground hurting him and causing him to cough up blood. “Zaang stop it! Leave him alone!” I pulled Zaang off Citrine and smacked him in the face and punched him in the stomach making him fall to his knees. “Heh if I didn’t know any better little sister I would think you have a crush on my buddy Citrine” Zaang said, I shook my head fast blushing, screaming it wasn’t like that and we were just friends. Citrine and Zaang laughed at me because of how I acted when Zaang was hurting Citrine. “Oh look at the time maybe I should go see what Kayla’s up to!” I ran inside quickly and thought to myself “Maybe I do like Citrine more than a friend but I don’t understand why, be basically tried to kill me the first time we ever met” I hid my face in my legs confused and unsure what to do. “Everything okay princess?” Sky walked up to me, Sky had long wavy blue hair, bright blue eyes and she was about five foot eight inches tall. I nodded at Sky and asked her if I could ask her for some advice, she nodded smiling at me and said of course I could. I asked her what it feels like to be in love or have a crush on someone, Sky told me my heart would beat fast your face feels like it’s on fire and all I would want to do is be around the guy. She asked me why all of a sudden with this kind of advice, giving me a curious look and smirking. I told her I might have a crush on the guy named Citrine, Sky’s jaw dropped and fainted. I poked her asking if she was okay but she didn’t get back up, I shrugged and walked away thinking she would wake up sooner or later. I walked into my room and sit on my bed doing some thinking when all of a sudden Citrine flew in my window which I forgot to shut this morning. “Why did you run off?” he asked me curiously, I said “No reason” he looked at me funny and walked over to me saying he knows I like him and I can’t say I don’t. I blushed and looked away from him telling him to go away, also that I wasn’t in the mood for his game saying I like him when I clearly don’t. He laughed and told me to think whatever I want but he knows the truth and when I was ready to admit it to come find him. I shook my heading saying guess I have no reason to come find him since I don’t feel that way about him, He appeared in my face all of sudden as if he was a lightning bolt, he moved so quick I didn’t even notice him move from the edge of my bed. Citrine kissed me and I kissed him back falling into his trick to prove he’s right. “Knew it” He smiled and laughed, “Dang it!” I replied, Citrine kissed me again and I kissed him back not getting mad because I knew the truth was out and I couldn’t hide it anymore. “So does this mean we’re dating?” Citrine asked smiling and blushing, “I guess so” I replied back smiling and blushing as well. Sky walked and said “No way you weren’t kidding!?” I looked at Sky just noticing her standing in my door way and shook my head telling her I was serious, Sky fainted again and I signed. “Is she going to be doing that a lot?” Citrine asked looking towards Sky, I nodded at him telling it will probably happen a lot until she gets used to us dating I guessed I wasn’t sure if she would get used to it though. Citrine smiled at me and teleported us to the Goth Realm and shouted for a guy named Alex, I asked Citrine where we were and he said “Welcome to the Goth Realm” I blinked and looked around, it was all mainly black it kind of gave me a creepy feeling. “Hey Citrine where have you been all day?” A guy with Short blonde hair and light blue eyes walked up to me and Citrine asking. “I have been with my girlfriend” Citrine replied, Alex jaw dropped and asked if he meant I was just a friend that was a girl or if I was really Citrine girlfriend. Citrine told him I was really his girlfriend then Alex stared at me then finally said something after two minutes of standing there like a statue. “Is that the princess of the Angel Realm?” Alex asked and Citrine nodded telling him that I was Princess of the Angel realm and Alex jaw dropped more saying “Y-your dating master Zaang’s sister!?” Alex asked in a nervous tone. Citrine nodded saying we were dating and he loved me and if Zaang didn’t like it then he will fight him in order to see that he never had to leave me. I blushed as Citrine was saying all that, the first guy I ever had a crush on became my boyfriend and now he saying he will do anything to stay by my side I was so shocked, so confused, my heart was beating fast and my face started to feel like it was on fire again. Citrine looked at me “Something wrong Kate?” Citrine asked and I jumped a bit shaking my head fast, “You look like you’re running a fever, your face is all red”. Citrine put his hand to my head and pulled back saying I was really warm. Citrine said I he should probably take me back to my Realm because the air in the Goth Realm might be making me sick. I shook my head saying I was fine, Citrine nodded and said if I start acting more sick he’s taking me back to the Angel Realm he and saying he doesn’t want me sick because if I would to get attacked and he couldn’t be around to protect me he wants me to be strong and well enough to at least be able to run. I stood up and hugged him asking him why I was so special, why he cared so much for me. “Because I love you, you’re perfect, you’re not afraid of something just because of rumors or because the point a sword at you. You don’t run from danger you stand your ground, you protect the people you love and hold close. You’re just perfect Kate” Citrine said and I blushed more. “Stop making the poor girl blush so much Citrine” Alex said, Citrine said oops and that he didn’t mean to make me blush so much he was just stating how he felt. I smiled and told him it was okay and I was only blushing because I felt more loved by him than anyone since my mother died. Citrine started blushing and then Alex laughed at him because he was blushing so I snapped my fingers and made a frying pan appear and hit Alex on the head. “Why you little brat!” Alex said, “Haha Alex!” Citrine said picking me up and teleporting us back to the Angel Realm, Citrine thanked me for sticking up for him but to be careful on who I hit with frying pans. The sun started to set and I told him I should be getting inside, I jumped out of him arms and started to walk inside when he grabbed my right wrist and pull me back to him and kissed me again. I blushed and closed my eyes kissing him back. Blaze took a picture “Haha got a picture, aren’t you two cute?” Blaze appeared out of the nearby bush smiling big then she ran off after I gave her a dirty look. “Sweet dreams Kate, I’ll see you tomorrow” Citrine said as he flew off and opening up a portal to the Goth realm. I waved by and walked inside the castle and went to my room, took a shower and got ready for bed. I had trouble sleeping for the whole night because all I could think about was Citrine for some reason, but after four hours I fell asleep.
