Chapter Two: My Half-Brother Zaang? I was still asleep in my bed, very confused and upset about what all happen yesterday. “Get up!” I heard someone screaming get up but I didn’t budge. Then all of a sudden someone was jumping on my bed screaming get up. “Get up! Face the day like a real ruler would!” I turn to see who it was and it was Kayla my clone. I stared at her and said “Please leave me alone Kayla I’m too upset to get up” I said with a depressed tone, Kayla grabbed me and threw me on the floor and told me to get up and be strong worse than this will come so I asked her. Worse than being locked in a white room only waiting four people in white coats to come torture you with needles, abusing you in places you never been touched before. Being shocked until you about die? Kayla nodded her head much worse can come to you, especially since you’re going to be the new ruler. I look at her signing “Okay, okay I’m up” I said getting up off the floor and standing on my feet. “Good now get dressed in something nice, you’re going to be crowned in an hour” Kayla said as she left. I blew my bangs out of my face and walked over to my walk in closet, I open my closet and walked into it and went to the very back to grab my nicest dress I had. It was pink with hearts all over, had lots of glitter, and some diamonds, my mother made it and I was saving it for when she planned to take me to the angel realm festival but I guess it will never come now so I guess I’ll wear it to something important that I think my mother would want me to wear it to. Something important like today, being crowned the new ruler of the War Angels. I was so nervous and scared because of what Kayla had said. After an hour I waited were I was told to wait, trumpets started going off Kayla showed up and said “Get ready because after Brittney finishes her speech you’re going to walk down to the front part of the room to be crowned” I nodded my head nervously. Kayla saw my nervousness because she was clone she knew everything about me, my fears, my likes and dislikes, my favorite color. Everything and I mean everything. Brittney started to do her speech. “We are gathered here today to crown the only remaining Princess to become our next ruler. I believe in her and so should you” as Brittney continued her speech it started sounding more and more like she was having me marry someone. Kayla told me to get ready, stand up straight and put on a big smile. I rolled my eyes saying, okay mom. Kayla gave me a dirty look but before she could say anything the doors started to open and the trumpets played once again. So Kayla moved out of the way and I started to walk up to Brittney and once I got up there she told me to kneel so I kneeled and she places the pink diamond tiara around my forehead. After the tiara was places on my head she said. “Kate Dove Lovely you are now our new ruler rise and bow before your people, Friends and umm sister” I could tell Brittney wasn’t sure what to call Kayla but I saw Kayla like a sister because she was so much like Kitkat, I stood up and bowed for everyone and said. “Thank you all, I will try my best to be a good leader and keep the Angel realm and everyone in it safe” everyone got and started clapping. I started to break out blushing because I wasn’t used to be around big crowds and being stared and definitely not used to getting applauded for. Brittney told me I was excused to go back to my room now if I pleased, I nodded and dashed out of there as fast as I could feeling my heart beat really fast and my face feeling so hot I thought it was on fire. As soon as I got to my room I closed the door behind me and sat on floor breathing in and out my nose to try and calm myself down. Kayla knocks on the door and I jump a bit and then I stand up and open the door and bit and Kayla pushes her way through the door and I fall to the ground. “Alright Princess we have a lot of work to do, so get in some normal clothes and meet me by the royal stairs” Kayla said then left, I signed and got up once again shut my door then walked over to my dresser, I open one of the doors and got some pink shorts pink tank top. I walked to the royal stairs “Jeez take much time?” Kayla said in an angry voice. “Sorry” I said hoping she would stop being mad, “Alright first things first balance books on your head” I looked at her and asked her why I had to balance book on my head. She said it’s a good way to show balance and it will be good to use during battle in certain situations. I looked at Kayla thinking how it she’s came from my mind and she knows more than me? “Kate stop dazing off!” Kayla shouted and I apologized once again. I start walking up and down the stairs with eight books on top of my head. All of a sudden a giant gush of wind blows right through the windows and heading towards me, me and Kayla screamed a little not knowing what was causing the wind or who and why they were doing it. When the wind stops I open my eyes and there’s a tall man with short straight black hair, and with black eyes black as black can be. “Hello dear younger sister” I gasped and said “Y-your Z-Zaang!” he smiled and laughed “Indeed I am and you’re coming with me” I back up shivering in fear with my eyes widen. “Get away from her Zaang!” an arrow goes flying and hits his shoulder electrocuting him. Zaang laughed and said “Is that all you got!? It’s going to take a lot more to contain me Brittney!” Zaang sent wind shards after Brittney then he grabbed me and we vanished into thin air. “Kate!” Brittney and Kayla yelled at the same time. As I arrive in a dark palace that gave me the chills someone knocked me out with a frying pan or so it felt like. Next thing I know is waking up tied to a chair and Zaang gets close to my face and I struggle to get free. “You’re my half-sister Kate huh? The one destined to save the world, keep peace, protect everyone? Ha! You can’t even fly! You have no wings and no powers! How can you save anyone! Protect anyone!” I looked at him with a smug ugly dark look, then I spit in his face he whipped it off and then he slapped me. “I may not have wings or powers yet, but I will not let you trash talk me like I’m some dog!” I got so mad all of a sudden my whole body was literally on fire and I burn the ropes off. “Wow how did I just do that?” Zaang stared at me and backed up. “I was told you had no powers and no wings, you were just like any other mortal a mistake at birth” I stared at him giving a wicked smile and said “Guess I’m just a late bloomer” I made myself mad again and making all the heat go to my hand and I release it causing fire to shoot at him” I was thinking how awesome it was I could make fire shoot out of my hands. “How? I’ve heard of late bloomers but not as late as you!” I got a smirk on my face and walked up to him and said “sometimes really late bloomers become one of the best and strongest people, now take me home or become BBQ” I aimed my hand in his face, he grabbed my hand and teleported me back where Brittney and Kayla put guns to his head. I walk over to Brittney and away from Zaang but after I do he vanishes back to the palace he was in before. Brittney and Kayla hug me tight, I asked Brittney is this what every day is going to be like or is there going to be a day that normal? Brittney shrugged and said only time will tell. I nodded and walked to my room seeing how it was already ten pm, I put on my pajamas and crawls into bed and completely passed out.
