Chapter the next: MarySues floor. Came home from the weekend away to find my monster floor hump has expanded even further. (Leak was fixed on 8/28, supposedly.) Now six feet long, 4 tall, 10 wide. It is stretching ever closer to the smaller, two-board-wide tent moving forward from the opposite wall. As the thing grows, the boards have now pulled apart and you can see between them. (To the crawl space below???) It is so creepy. Why does it keep growing? I didnt look closely until about an hour ago so I covered it up with a flat piece of plastic, secured with duct tape. I dont like having open cracks in the floor. Ugh. Too late to call the landlord. Whats he going to do at 1030 at night? He does have a plan to fix it temporarily. For which he had better get going. And I think he owes me about a month of rent. Tomorrow is a month since my first complaint. Just tired of coping with strange forces in my living space.
