Charles E. (Chuck) Angel, 74, died Saturday morning, Jan. 4, 2014, at his home here in Guymon. The son of Carl and Dolly Angel, Charles Eugene was born on July 11, 1939, in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Cindy Kae Duphorne on Feb. 4, 1979, in Sharon Springs, Kansas. Charles worked for 18 years for Lonny’s Quality Auto Body in Goodland, Kansas. The Angels moved to Guymon and Charles worked in maintenance department for Seaboard Farms for the past 16 years. He is survived by his wife, Cindy K. Angel of the home; a brother, Robert Angel of Saratoga Springs, NY; and three sons, David Angel of Los Angeles, CA; Mark Angel and James Angel of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his and Cindy’s infant son, Brandon Charles Angel, in 1979; and his brother, William Angel. Private family graveside services will be held in Sharon Springs, Kansas under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
