Charles Sturt University has a lot of opportunities for you also... Remember this is a University that has Campuses in Parramatta, Manly & the Sydney CBD. It might be one you would consider when you look at the information below! The following link will give you all the information about the locations of the CSU campuses csu.edu.au/about/locations Cutting the cost of study with scholarships While the overall cost of obtaining a degree at CSU is lower than most other universities in Australia and our students find that the cost of living is less in a regional centre compared to metropolitan locations, we know it is still a significant investment for families. To minimise any financial strain, CSU provides access to a variety of scholarships, loans, subsidies and schemes that can assist with the cost of study and accommodation. When weighing up the costs of studying, remember the benefits of having the qualification needed to achieve personal and professional goals. Charles Sturt University Foundation Trust The CSU Foundation offers scholarships from $1000 to $40 000, made available through the generous donations from individuals, companies and organisations that believe in supporting the University and its students. All Foundation scholarship applications open on September 9. Applications for continuing student scholarships close on November 19; accommodation scholarship applications close on January 20; first year scholarship applications close on February 10. Other options You might also be surprised at the wealth of support available from local services clubs, philanthropic groups or industry associations. A few things are important to remember here; small amounts can add up, you can apply for as many of these as you can find and not all scholarships are academically based. More information and a searchable database of scholarships is available via our parents page (csu.edu.au/parents) which features tips on preparing your child for university, getting into uni and what to expect, and fees and finances.
