My Tama Starclassic Performer B/B kit has been a work in progress for the last two years. Thanks to the helpful staff at The Drum Cavern in Brighton UK, I now have my dream kit and managed to get all the drums I wanted for it before Tama discontinued the Indigo Sparkle Burst finish. Bought the core 5 piece in 2012, added the 8 Tom last year, then the 14 Floor Tom and 13 snare arrived 3 months ago. Tamas waiting time on special orders is 4 - 6 months here in the UK and after lots of saving and waiting, its now complete! I like the idea of having a kit to suit any musical situation. I can break this kit down into many configurations as well as enjoy it all together. Finally managed to find some time to set it up and try it all out last weekend and these birch / bubinga hybrid shells are the best Ive played in 27 years.
