Check out this video we put together of Buffalo radar images showing both Lake Effect snow events which impacted the Buffalo Southtowns last week. The video spans from 7pm Monday Nov 17th through 7pm Friday Nov 21st with hourly time steps showing 0.5 deg. radar reflectivity and cloud-to-ground lightning strikes. Notice the extended time that the first intense lake snow band lingered over the Southtowns on Tuesday and Tuesday night then how the second intense lake snow band set up across the same location on Thursday.
