Kudos to the OC Police who as soon as they got the call that it was a hit & run, shut down both bridges out of OC as well as to Fenwick. There was a witness who was able to get the tag & saw the 18 year old woman who was driving, so there was a good description of her. To make it better, she had 2 children in the car with her! They found her abandoned vehicle & shortly after, caught her. She knew she hit her because the girl went up onto the hood, then roof then was dropped 50 feet away from the crosswalk. The woman slowed, then sped off. It was so tough for all of us to watch her laying in the street not moving wondering if she was even alive. We are all pretty upset they let her out on $5,000 bail.
