[email protected] 09:31 (1 hour ago) to me Dear Ms Gardner. We have made every effort to being together DOLAS and Network Rail to meet. Regrettably, it has not been possible to get both parties to agree to a shared agenda and meeting purpose, or to agree an acceptable list of attendees, for a meeting to go ahead with any real value to both parties. The final message from Network Rail made it clear that for them to attend, attendees should be restricted in number. solicitors should not be present, and that they were not able to discuss claims which were subject to on-going legal advice. They also confirmed that Glan Y Don is a private bridge provided by the railway company as an accommodation work for the benefit of the Company of Proprietors of the Navigation of the River Dee and that only this Company, their successors in title or other party so authorised by the railway company are allowed to convey vehicles across this bridge. No other party has provided Network Rail with any evidence that they meet any of these criteria. Given the positions taken by both parties we will not be pursuing a meeting which we can facilitate. You have the Network Rail contact details to continue your discussions without our involvement.
