Child support clawback update – deadline February 28 At the January 14, 2015 First Call coalition meeting, we discussed the BC government child support clawback consultation and invited feedback. We also noted $13.4 million is being clawed back. First Call plans to have a final submission ready by the end of January to give partners a chance to use it in their own responses. Deadline for public consultation feedback is February 28. BC ACORN’s petition to end child support clawbacks tells the government to stop the clawback of child support from low-income single parents.
