Children are so forgiving. Not everyone knows my situation with my oldest daughter, but she only lived with me till she was 13 months, then the unthinkable happened. There were times sometimes months that I wasnt allowed no contact what so ever, couldnt physically see her, touch her, play with her. Days became months and months became years, she has always lived away from me, but not till recently about last year when I started to get access to her, day visits then they turned into finally a sleep over for the weekend at moms house, that was so amazing waking up to see both my daughters snoozing I just stood there with tears streaming down my face, so at peace seeing her sleeping at my house. As she got older I wasnt sure what she was being told, and I had a fear she would hate me and not accept me as mommy. But you know what, to this day she calls me mom and looks for mommy to talk with when shes sick or sad! Its just amazing how kids can love you unconditional and Danaye looks at it like I am going to make up for lost time. I cant change the past but can the present! Im never letting mommys baby down, no more broken promises no more cancelled plans!! always forever Danaye will be mommys Little baby as beautiful as can be!!
