Chris Paul is 22-31 in the playoffs and has never taken his team past the second round, he once had his team get blown out by almost 60 points in a playoff game. Paul vs. the best PGs in the league (reg season): Chris Paul vs. Derrick Rose: 0-5 (bkref/tiny/ASgaT) Chris Paul vs. Deron Williams: 5-15 (bkref/tiny/sDMC9) Chris Paul vs. Tony Parker: 10-18 (bkref/tiny/Sw3Sy) Chris Paul vs. Russell Westbrook: 11-8 (bkref/tiny/zs1gj) Chris Paul vs. Rajon Rondo: 4-6 (bkref/tiny/OKIfh) Chris Paul vs. Stephen Curry: 7-8 (bkref/tiny/S3uRb) He has good individual numbers, and I dont question his talent, but like the quarterback position in football, hes the field general and when it comes to wins and losses vs. the elite, he comes up short, and hes had talent around him. Dude is in his NINTH season, and now with this whole Sterling mess going on, people are making even more excuses for Pauls postseason failures. Paul is the Tony Romo of the NBA, but doesnt take the heat of not getting it done in the playoffs like Romo does. People often say that Paul is the best PG in the league, that hes a killer, and that theyd start a franchise with him over any other PG, even Westbrook or a fully healthy Rose. Well, he didnt get it done in New Orleans, and now, with a team that even has its own nickname, Lob City, hes not getting it done in LA either, with more offensive talent than a healthy Rose ever had to work with. How long will Paul continue to get a pass with fans and the media?
