Chris and I discussed the lack of effort and desire for the Town Team after the game on Saturday. We gave you, the players, the opportunity to have your say. Unfortunately only FOUR people sent their thoughts to us. This simply demonstrates the unwillingness to put effort in and show decent attitude. Many thanks to the 4 that said they wanted the chance to play for Rossendale Schools and potentially trial for Lancashire but we have had discussion with the teachers at all schools, and some have sent back their concerns also. We have yet to withdraw from Lancashire Cup and ESFA (Area B) competition, but after the lack of effort, enthusiasm and attitude in the 3 games we have played, from players in attendance and those that have withdrawn, we are leaning towards not having a team in 2013/2014 competition. HAVE YOUR SAY.
