Christ was bruised, and I am healed! He was crucified, and I am forgiven! He rose from the dead, and I live! He reigns and I have peace! The unbelieving world can’t understand him! Armies can’t defeat Him! Teachers can’t explain Him! Leaders can’t ignore Him! Herod couldn’t kill Him! The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him! The vast power of the Roman Empire couldn’t destroy Him! Hitler and all who have tried couldn’t silence Him! Humanism and the New Age can’t replace Him! Science and human reason cannot explain Him away! Jesus is eternal light, amazing love, and inspiring hope! He is Lord God Almighty, and His ways are always right! His Word is eternal, and His will is absolute! He is goodness, kindness, and gentleness! He is holy, righteous, powerful, and pure! He is my Redeemer! He is my Savior! He is my peace! He is my joy! He is my comfort! Most importantly, He is my Lord and my God! Only in Scripture do we see that our loving Creator is Jesus Christ: “The Wonderful Counselor,” “The Everlasting Father,” “The Prince of Peace,” “The Bread of Life,” “The Light of the World,” “The Living Water,” “The Rock of Ages and “The King of kings and Lord of lords!” What can the mapmaker tell us about “The Way,” or the philosopher about the “Truth,” or the nutritionist about the “Bread of Life?” What can those who tend sheep tell us about the “Good Shepherd,” or the carpenter about “The Door,” or the architect about the “Chief Corner Stone?” What can the botanist tell us about the “Lily of the Valley” or the “Rose of Sharon?” What can the astronomer tell us about the “Son of Righteousness” or the “Bright and Morning Star?” What can the geologist tell us about the “Living Water,” or the “Rock of Ages?”
