Christchurch has been given a Christmas Eve jolt, with a shallow 4.1 magnitude earthquake rattling the city. The quake did not appear to cause any damage or disruption, but rattled nerves in Christchurch. It struck 10km east of Christchurch at a depth of 13km at 7.43pm. The quake was felt across Christchurch, with people taking to social media to comment. The quake was described as a walloping belter And a merry Christmas to you too Mother Nature. The earthquake appeared to put nerves on edge in Christchurch, where thousands of earthquakes have struck the city in the last four years. Its not the earthquake that worries me, its the Whats next?
