Christians: The world is not moved by our views, opinions or judgment. The world is moved when our views translate into actions that affect the problem. Martin Luther King didnt talk about the problems, he marched. Rosa Parks didnt talk about the conditions on the bus, she refused to accept them. Christ didnt sit in the church and condemn sinners, He brought the healing power of the church to the ugliness of the world, the lost, the sinner. Church Christians are good for the church but if sitting in a pew is the closest we get to the real issues, the lost and the hurting -- we become like salt without flavor: You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. (Matt. 5:13)
