Christmas and the holidays are the season of giving. Its a time - TopicsExpress

Christmas and the holidays are the season of giving. Its a time when people are more kind and open-hearted. As Igbetians join others globally to celebrate the 2014 Christmas, I wish to state that only peace, respect for one another and harmonious coexistence among Igbetians could guarantee the needed growth and development in the community. Igbetians should endeavour to live in peace and ensure religious and political tolerance at all times. Doing this would provide the needed elixir for all Igbetiians to think and act with unity of purpose under one God, while ensuring peace and love for one another. Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love! This is the season of kindness and giving, therefore, instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend that would be giving as the angels give. No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. Never look down on anybody unless youre helping them up. The place to improve the world is first in ones own heart and head and hands. At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in. Hungry not only for bread, but hungry for love, naked not only for clothing, but naked for human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks, but homeless because of rejection. You cannot do a kindness too soon because you never know how soon it will be too late. Bear it in mind that by the accident of fortune a man may rule the world for a time, but by virtue of love and kindness he may rule the world forever. Make a Difference in this season of giving. With love and well wishes from JB Odesina Memorial foundation, I wish you all Merry Christmas, and may this New Year bring you joy and laughter. To be happy is the greatest wish in life, have a safe and happy holiday. CEO, JB Odesina Memorial Foundation
