Christmas is a season that is enjoyed and revered around the whole globe, and when the Christmas markets come to Liverpool these influences all culminate to give you a taste of how the season is celebrated all around the world. This year’s market will feature over fifty stalls with connections to different cultures from regions as far as South America and China. Taste delicacies from across the globe, and indulge in a variety of arts and crafts local to a huge array of countries. William Square will be hosting a fantastic food and craft village this year, providing the perfect place to get all of your Christmas decorations and gifts for those arty friends this year. St George’s Hall is also holding a Winter Arts market on the 6th and 7th December. From the 7th November to the 4th January, the ice rink is back in Liverpool. This is the perfect place to teach your kids to skate, have a romantic encounter with a loved one or simply soak up the magic of Christmas. There’s also an Alpine-themed café bar to warm up and the UK’s only real ice slide for those thrill seekers. What’s not to get excited about?
