Christmas is about faith. Christmas is not a secular celebration. Christmas is a holy event where we remember that the invisible God has become like us; with flesh, incarnated. God has given His promise to us, His promise to Abraham. Into our generation, it’s not just a commemoration. Looking at it again, it is Christmas. God has given His life to us. Christmas in the Old Testament was about desire and faith; that God would make good on His promise to Abraham. In our generation, we need faith to believe that God is here with us in our time; and we need more faith. - Fr Jong
