Christmas songs are playing and I feel my heart breaking... :( I cannot help but feel for the people who have experienced loss and are feeling helpless... With all these things happening in our country, I couldnt help but also reflect about what it could mean for each of us Filipinos. I read this earlier in a post calling for donations, No contribution is too small!... I believe it also holds true when we are not caught in a tragic situation. It seems like we really need to do our part in preparing and becoming more vigilant in rebuilding our country in all ways possible, especially our environment. I was never really into all these save the planet thing so I used to think things like conserving water, turning off lights were of little significance to me, but its never been clearer how they are of grave importance. Above all, I also pray that our desire to help would not end here. Love, generosity and kindness cannot just surface in the midst of tragedy. They need to become a habit. I have no doubt that our country can rise from this, but I also hope that we can begin looking further ahead and proactively act toward positive change. Let the transformation of ourselves and this country begin. #BangonPilipinas
