Christy and I just wanted to update you guys on Ashley. Last Friday Ashley was connected to an ECMO machine, it is a heart and lung bypass machine, to take the strain off her heart and lungs. She is also on Dialysis 24 hours a day to keep fluid out of her chest. She has been very stable and sedated. Most everyday they wake Ashley up to check her reflexes but today they allowed her to stay awake a bit longer. She got to spend some time with Justin and Dad. Christy and I got to see her somewhat awake as well. We asked her a few questions and she responded to them by nodding and she even squeezed my finger. Our next big hurdle could be later this week when they attempt to replace her mitral valve. So please continue to pray for Ashley and keep her in your thoughts. Thank you so much. #TEAMHOLMAN
