The word church comes from the greek word Ecclesia , which means an assembly of people, specifically for the worship and contemplation of God, not a building. The idea that only a building can hold Gods presence, that only a place can be holy, and that apart from that building, we are free to dabble in sin, is a lie from the depths. Gods Word says that we are the temple, not a building. Im not telling you to abandon the building where you worship, Im telling you to remember you are a temple built without human hands. You carry a holy place with you everywhere you go. YOU ARE THE CHURCH. Be blessed.
