Church homecoming today. It was such a beautiful day, the breeze blowing thru the windows of the old church kept everyone cool and the hand fans (yes, in this church they have fans at every pew) were not needed. The family dinner provided by all the parishioners was tasty and varied. A coach from West Lincoln High was the guest speaker. This very old church no longer is used on a daily basis. It is still used for funerals and weddings and for homecoming. My husbands family was instrumental in building this last church. It was first built of logs many years ago and was replaced several times due to fire etc. A nice sunday spent with family and friends.
