Cindy Jacob’s Response to the Rick Joyner Prophecy Many of you have seen the prophetic word circulated by Rick Joyner. It was undoubtedly a sobering and urgent word, and many people have asked Cindy for her thoughts and response. When such a message is delivered, it can be easy to allow spirits of fear and heaviness to grip us, but that is not the purpose in God’s heart when He communicates these things to His people. We invite you to view Cindy’s response as she offers additional insight and guidance on how we should respond to the word of the Lord. Here is the video link: vimeo/107159052 If you havent heard the dream Rick Joyner had pleas access the following link: https://youtube/watch?v=prIQR7pxyZ0&feature=youtu.be As far as God bringing forth His judgment is concerned, the Bible lists tons of examples of God doing this on people and nations in order to bring correction so they will turn from their wicked ways! Many people are saying that we must pray. And yes we must WATCH and PRAY without ceasing, especially in the Spirit, for many times we do not know how we ought to pray. Moreover, God issues these warnings through His servants the prophets so we can respond and prepare accordingly and make course correction as we cry out to Him for mercy. In addition, we MUST stand on His Word and say out loud Psalm 91 every day and cover ourselves and our families with the blood of Jesus morning and night. However, the Lord has placed it on my heart to say the following as well: First and foremost, Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the Lord, I do not change…” And, Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Therefore, the Lord wants His people to know that the same God of the Old Testament is the same God of the New Testament. Especially, since Yahweh, our heavenly Father and the Word who became the Son of Man—Jesus Christ, are one and the same God, even though they are two distinct Persons in the Godhead! Therefore, what God did and said in the Old Testament for the most part applies to New Covenant believers! And, if you took the time to read the Old Testament then you would know that when God’s people committed spiritual harlotry and iniquity despite repeated warnings, then God would sometimes use His people’s enemies as an instrument of death to bring forth His righteous judgment so His people would turn from their wicked ways. As a matter of fact, Psalm 7:11 says that, “God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day. If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. He also prepares for Himself INSTRUMENTS OF DEATH; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.” God doesn’t expect the unrighteous to turn from their wicked ways—because they are lost and do NOT know they are practicing wicked things. This is why we must pray for our enemies and stand in the gap for those who practice abominations to the Lord. However, when God’s people do these things then they are breaking covenant with Him and He will bring forth His righteous judgment to bring correction. And, the longer His people continue in their transgressions, the more His judgment will be released until they stop practicing iniquity and rebelling against Him. In addition, God’s faithful remnant has been praying for revival for a long time and there are pockets of revival happening in some places in our nation and God is pouring out His glory. However, the revival of His people has not reached the point where it is sweeping across this nation in order to bring transformative revival where the secular world takes notice yet. Furthermore, God’s judgments keep coming upon our nation despite all the prayer going forth from His faithful remnant. Why? I have sought the Lord concerning what will take place on our present course and He has told me that we will continue on our downward spiral until we sincerely repent, STOP SINNING, and return to Him with all our mind, heart, soul and strength. After all this is the fourth condition of 2 Chronicles 7:14! Unfortunately, for most it takes great pain for us to make course correction, and oftentimes it only happens when tragedy or life changing events impact our individual lives. Moreover, it has been said, “We change our behavior when the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of changing.” As such, when the pain of staying the way we are becomes greater than what it will take for us to turn from our wicked ways, only then can expect to stop reaping what we have sown as a nation of people who calls good evil and evil good. Therefore, as Hebrews 10:30-31 says, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge HIS PEOPLE.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” And, God’s people are SUPPOSED to be a Holy Nation, a royal priesthood who are set apart and LIVE Holy because the God we serve is Holy! Yet, there are many people in the body of Christ who live no different than those who have never come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! Therefore, it is the iniquity of God’s people, NOT THE LOST, which is keeping God from hearing our prayers based on Isaiah 59:1-3 below. “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy,That it cannot hear. BUT YOUR INIQUITIES HAVE SEPARATED YOU FROM YOUR GOD; AND YOUR SINS HAVE HIDDEN HIS FACE FROM YOU, SO THAT HE WILL NOT HEAR. For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.” And, for those of us who do NOT think God will inflict calamity, His Word says differently in the Scriptures below. And, according to Deuteronomy 32:39 it is the Lord who kills, wounds and brings calamity. As such, we need to fully understand “who” the God of the Bible is based on the whole counsel of His Word and begin to fear the Lord once again which is the beginning of wisdom! Deuteronomy 32:39 ‘Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand. Isaiah 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, THE LORD, DO ALL THESE THINGS.’ Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth! Behold, I WILL CERTAINLY BRING CALAMITY on this people— The fruit of their thoughts, Because they have not heeded My words Nor My law, but rejected it. Jeremiah 11:11 Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, I WILL SURELY BRING CALAMITY on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them. Jeremiah 18:17 I WILL SCATTER THEM as with an east wind before the enemy; I WILL SHOW THEM THE BACK and not the face In the day of their calamity.” Jeremiah 25:29 For behold, I BEGIN TO BRING CALAMITY on the city which is called by My name, and should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished, for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth,” SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS.’ Jeremiah 26:3 Perhaps everyone will listen and turn from his evil way, that I MAY RELENT CONCERNING THE CALAMITY WHICH I PURPOSE TO BRING ON THEM because of the evil of their doings.’ 1 Corinthians 3:17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, GOD WILL DESTROY HIM. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. Acts 3:23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet SHALL BE UTTERLY DESTROYED from among the people.’ The following website is a great read substantiating the truth that God does indeed bring judgment in order to bring correction to His people when they have rebelled and forsaken Him and practicing evil deeds which are contrary to His Word. This is what a loving Father does when His children are practicing things which will cause them to reap curses, destruction and death instead of blessings and life! scriptureinsights/Judgment.html God has been very merciful in His many warnings that He has given to the body of Christ through His servants the prophets and He desires that all come to repentance so that no one perishes. And, He WILL protect His faithful remnant when He must bring His righteous judgment on a nation!
