Cinnamon is your friend, especially during cookie season if you dont want to cut them out. Try to have at least half a teaspoon a day. Use it in everything even remotely sweet! Coffee! Tea! Protein shakes! Oatmeal! Even just stir some in water during/after a particularly decadent simple carb binge. Remember, with just one serving of simple carbs/sugar, your body is literally more addicted for 3 days. Cutting out sugar completely takes 1-2 weeks to adjust comfortable to. Expect crazy cravings and even headaches while you wait out withdrawal
