Citizens for Mount Sunapees future appreciates the passion on both sides of this debate over the master development plan. Our group was formed because we strongly believe adding new trails and lifts, expanded parking and a new ski lodge would keep Mount Sunapee Ski Resort more competitive and would benefit the regions tourism economy a great deal. With that said, we strongly believe that it is important for all sides to be fairly heard in this dialogue. We do not believe that boycotting a business because of their beliefs on this or any other plan is an appropriate step to take. Again, we certainly understand the passion that both sides of this debate bring, and based on news coverage today, we know theres a strong majority in support of this plan. But no idea enjoys unanimous support. It is important to listen to both sides of any issue, and work towards the most reasonable compromise possible.
