Citizens of Washington County: I am running for the office of Washington County Collector. My name is Pam Blair, and I have worked in the County Clerks Office for the past eleven years as Election Clerk. Prior to the this position, I held the post of Deputy Assessor in charge of the Real Estate Department in the Assessors Office for seven years. Many of you may also know me from my 10 years at Potosi Sav-A-Lot, as the Evening Manager, and the many years I have worked evenings at Karschs, Country Mart, Boos Restaurant, and the St. Francios Country Racetrack. Over the past 30 years, I have served on several boards, including the Antioch Community Center, the SEMO Family Violence Council, and most recently the Extension Council. I have participated in community festivals, picnics, and fund raisers throughout the county, making roasted corn, burgers/hotdogs, chicken & dumplings, and chili. I have two children, Carey Rulo and husband Chuck of Potosi, and Brian Blair and wife Kate of Warrensburg, Missouri. My mother is Wilma Cole and husband Charlie Cole of Potosi, and my father is Henry Crase of Caledonia. My siblings are Rhonda Snyder of Bismarck, Missouri, Reta Gilliam of Pennsylvania, Hank Crase of Loudon, Tennessee, Teresa Dennis of Fenton, Missouri, and Shannon Crase of Caledonia. I earned an Associates Degree in Business Management from Mineral Area College in 2006. I am a hard worker, and have always done my best to help and serve the public in a friendly and efficient manner. The current County Collector, Michael McGirl, will be retiring at the end of his term. I am asking for your VOTE AND SUPPORT in the upcoming election. Please allow me the opportunity to serve you as your next Washington County Collector. Thank you for your time. PAM BLAIR
