City Streets. I dont remember seeing a note on this so Ill post. Surely you noticed the oiling and sanding of the city streets last week. We had money already in the budget for this really neat treatment. It is more a preservative - an application that penetrates into the pavement and literally extends its life for many, many years. The sand is the clean up process. Its not like a traditional top oiling that youve seen on other road surfaces. It doesnt recolor the street black, but regardless, this process SAVES a lot of money and will keep our city streets in better shape for a much longer period. Kudus to the road crews.
