Civil rights was not the African American rights movement. Rights of citizens as a whole. Funny how the de facto meaning would like to segregate the rights to a group of individuals. Divide and conquer. Who is responsible for spreading the word and allowing this de facto standard to became reality? Who did nothing and allowed these standards to become reality. American citizens had rights on paper until society and its de facto standards suggested otherwise. They allowed groups to infringe on these rights without lawful order. While those who agree with the rights of the civilians chose to sit by and do nothing. Civilians rights! It will take the civilians of America to protect the rights of its people, not an isolated group. #vote protect those rights. Elect those who protect the rights of our civilians. What people protect your rights? The president? You? Council members, school board, police, judges????? Who protects your rights? Who is to protect your rights.... Or do you even care... Until those rights are infringed upon and you have to go to the system of people who were elected and appointed Not To Care about your civil rights.
