Clarification of the previous post as I cannot edit it and dont want to loose the lovely comments. The post should have made it clear that this is not a Deaf Community v Happy New Ear issue. We were responding to events from the previous week from various sources and if I offended anyone or gave the impression that our children are not welcome in the Deaf Community then it was unintentional and I apologise. Many of our children are already very much a part of the deaf community. Edited post We have stayed silent thus far but I feel we need to make a statement on the row that is breaking out between those who are opposed to Cochlear Implants and our campaign group.
