Class Reunion Update: We are in a difficult place. We have only collected $176 for our class reunion scheduled for this Saturday. We have a total of 31 classmates with or without spouses that are supposed to be in attendance. That being said, we are NEGATIVE $289. The deadline was set for August 2nd to allow time for Jill and I to finalize our menu, based on attendance, and pay for other expenses that we both have paid for in advance. We have not only spend several hours working on making this event a success, but have also contributed well above the $15 per person charge. Several of you have contacted Jill and have told her that money is in the mail, but she had not received much. Please be advised that if Jill does not receive the money promised by Friday, we will need for you to pay at the door any money owed, and Jill will contact you in regard to any checks she may receive after Saturday. As of right now, we only have enough money to pay for very little food, and are responsible for ordering a minimum order that we do not have the funds for, due to money not being sent on time. Jill and I are unable to cover this deficit. Our final order was due yesterday, but we have been given an extension until this evening. What would you like us to do? I believe that the only solution to this would be to only order food based on the money that we have collected, and hope that the Exchange will still allow us to hold our event. A response from those attending or those that have a check in the mail would be greatly appreciated!
