Classes of Hauntings Residual – The activity of reoccurring or traumatic actions from past events that leave an imprint on the environment. Like a recording on a tape, it will play the events over and over again. The entities involved in this residual haunting activity are not aware of their surroundings. This is not an intelligent haunting; there is no interaction between you and the entity. Example of a residual haunting is that maybe you hear music, singing or talking, but when you go to investigate the room or area you thought it came from, there is no one there. Intelligent – These types of haunting are very rare, in the sense that they interact with people. The most common belief is that the ghost is connected to the site or people in some way. These hauntings are considered to be intelligent because communication with the living usually occurs. This ghost is best described as the spirit of a person who once lived and has stayed behind because of unfinished business or maybe they don’t realize they have died. They may also be able to make themselves known by slamming, opening and closing doors, affecting electrical devices; making strange sounds, creating unexplained cold spots and giving you a strong feeling of being watched. Poltergeist – Poltergeist is a German word meaning "noisy ghost”. It is usually caused by a teenage girl going through puberty stages. During this stage, a young girl can suppress an extreme amount of inner energy. This energy can be projected, which can cause tapping sounds, the movement of objects, and lights flickering off and on. Anniversary – Usually appears continuously over a week or two, same time every year. # Admin # Vin
