Client:Robinson / Eisenmann / BMW Location: Greenville, SC Job Title: Parts Planner Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Pay:17.00 / HR If you are interested please contact: Timmery Richie Email:[email protected] Direct Line: 828-687-2236 Description: •The Parts Planner position at a high volume production facility will require a qualified individual to interface with internal and external customers for the purpose of maintaining spare parts inventory for the maintenance of production equipment located within the facility. Having the correct spare parts is a key component for the maintenance team in order to have production machinery running in a timely manner. •Pull spare parts and deliver to production line when requested. •Pull spare parts from inventory and stage in appropriate area for future work. •Take periodic physical inventory to ensure correctness of inventory database. •Attend maintenance planning meetings for future work in order to have an understanding of spare parts needed to complete tasks. •Assist maintenance team in procuring spare parts and assist with researching spare parts availability. •Work with maintenance planners to improve bill of materials lists associated with each piece of equipment. •Gather data to update Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in order to track spare parts performance. •Creating work notifications and work orders. •Take part in root cause analysis and problem solving teams. •Assist internal and external customers in other job functions that may be assigned. Technical Qualifications/Functional Skills: •Associate Degree or equivalent work experience. Technical major preferred. •1 year work experience within a manufacturing environment. •Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. •Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings in order to determine spare parts. •CMMS experience in a manufacturing setting. •Desirable experience with CMMS (SAP preferred), and Material management software.
