Closing date 8 November JOB ID:14371 Hospital Administration Clerk - Admission (Reception) Job description: Core Title: Administrative Line Function and Support Personnel Institution: Lotus River Community Day Centre (Chief Directorate: Metro District Health Services) Service benefits: *.13th cheque, employer’s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance. Requirements Minimum educational qualification: *Senior Certificate (or equivalent). Experience: *Appropriate administrative experience. Competencies (knowledge/skills): *Computer literacy (Ms Word and Excel). *Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages in the Western Cape. *Experience in operating PHCIS /Clinicom system. Duties (key result areas/outputs): *Admit, register and discharge patients and handle all patient enquiries. *Accurate collection, safekeeping and deposit of state money. *Ensure correct management of patient folders at reception areas and schedule appointments (new, follow-up and operations) on system. *Correct patient assessment and accurate data recording. *Support to the Facility Manager and relief duties as per operational needs.
