Club Day Function Sunday 5th Oct Another fine warm spring day outside, a warm receptive audience and a pleasant afternoon of Country Music, what more could you ask for. Our Club Function started on time and we were treated to a good afternoon of country music amply supported by our Clubs Band, members and visitor singers and our Feature Artist for the day, John Kahu, on his trusty Ukulele, singing 3 cover songs. Our Guest Artist Craig Adams certainly is a fine entertainer in his own right, with his easy friendly audience rapport and give it all professional stage performance soon having many dancing and rocking the floor to a fine seven song set mix of medium and uptempo numbers. Thank you Craig, Katrina and family for sharing your time with us. It was also very nice to see Pounamu Country Music Club Members Barry & Robin Jones, from Levin, visit us and singing two songs. Thank you also to Peter Cahill who did a great job as our stand in drummer in the band and to all for sharing your company with us. Yep, it was a good afternoon of country music entertainment.
