Club Pet is over capacity by ten dogs. All foster homes are full. Shelters and Pounds are being forced to euthanize; even those that have had not had to for months. If you have a dog in need of rehoming; please do not take them to the pound...they are full. If you are rehoming due to behavior issues; please contact a trainer. Jen Falvey and Katie Matola-Costello from THE LEARNING DOG TRAINING AND ENRICHMENT CENTER, In Hubbard Ohio, often times can give you tips or suggest classes to help you to better understand and or modify these issues. If your dog is not spayed/neutered; please do this. If your dog is a senior and you can not care for him/her or just no longer wish to; be responsible and take him/her to your vet and have them euthanized humanely. If dumped in a pound right now....they WILL NOT make it out alive. If you find a stray, please advertise and if possible foster until you can network him/her to a new home. All local pounds are putting down...they are full; rescues are full. PA no longer is allowed to kill via gas chamber, however OHIO can and many still do. Please be responsible and do not dump your pet in an already over crowded system. Do not kid yourself that they will find a "better" home.
