Coca-Cola has launched a brand of milk called Fairlife that will be available in December for purchase in the US, will cost 2 times the amount of milk available and have 50% more protein and 30 less sugar. Fairlife states they “great tasting high protein products that are based on the natural nutrition of dairy” with a “patented filtration process gently separates milk into its five components (water, lactose, vitamins/minerals, protein & fat) so that we can then reassemble them to create the trusted products you’re looking for.” Sandy Douglas, global chief customer officer for Coca-Cola spoke at an investment conference hosted by Morgan Stanley, explaining how her corporations has created “a joint venture with US dairy farmers” to provide them with milk. youtu.be/S83hsrD9ukk
