Cocoa Adopted! We rescued Cocoa and her sister Koda together. Their owner dropped those two beautiful dogs at the pound. Koda was a very lucky girl, she was adopted at the first adoption event. Her name is now Sammie. Cocoa was left behind and she felt lost without her sister. She got easily scared, was scared of other dogs and had separation anxiety. But you could see she was a wonderful dog who just needed to develop more self confidence. With time that was what happened, she got more secure every week. Recently she got adopted too by a sweet woman. Her adopter lived very near the house where her sister Sammie was living. Forte put the two families in contact with each other and the sisters met again! Cocoa was very happy and was running around the house with her sister. Cocoa’s adopter developed allergies though and she couldn’t keep her anymore. Then the best thing happened for Cocoa, she was adopted by her sister’s family! They live in the best house ever, with dog beds and toys and a big yard to play in. Cocoa and Sammie, two wonderful young dogs, now together forever. What a beautiful ending!
