Col 3:16 Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Jesus Christ is the living Word of GOD, and we who have been washed clean from our sins in His Own blood (Rev 1:5) and made (...kings and priests unto GOD and his Father...Rev 1:6) are to have a tenacious grip not only on our blessed hope in Him (Titus 2:13), but also on the Word of GOD through which (....are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises...II Pe 1:4). The believer lives a life of faith in submission to the Holy Spirit based upon the inerrant, infallible, divinely inspired Scriptures (In hope of eternal life, which GOD, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Titus 1:2), and as directed by GOD, the Scriptures are to be our constant study that we might show ourselves (.... approved unto GOD, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth II Tim 2:15). To be strong in faith, one must cling to the Word of Christ, acknowledging the Source, that (All scripture is given by inspiration of GOD....II Tim 3:16a); recognizing the necessity, importance, and goal of GODS Word that It (....is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of GOD may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works II Tim 3:16b-17). To this end, we should be well instructed in the doctrine of (....the Faith which was once delivered unto the saints Jude 1:3), storing up the doctrines of the glorious Gospel of Christ the power of GOD unto salvation in our hearts (Rom 1:16); to meditate upon them; to allow them to be our guide, that we might as the Word of Christ abundantly dwells in us, wisely teach, instruct, admonish, and edify fellow saints in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs bursting forth from a heart so full of the Grace of GOD that it can no longer be contained; and as the heart sings for joy, the voice joins in with the melody of worship, praise, thankfulness, and appreciation to the praise of Christ our Redeemer and to the glory of GOD our Father, our Great GOD (Ps 95:3) Who has done great things for us through His glorious, beloved Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
