Cold, Cold, Cold and snow on ground in the area we live in WVC, southwest of SLC. Karolyn, Harrys sis from Blanding, Utah came in yesterday. We went to see the movie, Unbroken, a very intense movie for me, yet my faith & hope continues & strengthened in learning about people with Strength under horrid conditions and cruel people. Afterwards we dined at Olive Garden in WVC. We had an interesting visit till about 1AM. Fun visiting with Karolyn. Daughter Chrishel is leaving for NYC this evening, going to meet up with her friend Guyrene there and both will be staying with Chrishels friend in NYC for couple of days then they will be staying in a motel/hotel and visit with Chrishels NY Jamaican friend, Annette. Annette adopted Harry and I as her Navajo Dad and Mom. She is a delight. Annette and Chrishel attended college together in Beverly, Mass back in the 80s. Harry, Karolyn and I are leaving for Wendover later this afternoon. Most likely will be back in the morning, since we didnt reserve rooms there. Hope I can last all night, if not, I will find a machine and put my head on it and sleep till I get chased away from there....got to have an experience of that sort.....I dont remember couches in the casinos except for in the hotel lobby. Most likely will have brunch before heading back to SLC in the morning. Will see what this experience will be like....we usually get a free room or get a discount for the week-ends, but not this time....made spontaneous decision to go ...... Everyone have a Fun and Safe New Year.
