Colleagues and friends, I am not the creator of this page, and to many, with only 5 years on the job, I am a rookie. I ask you though for two minutes of your time. A police officer is killed every 58 hours in this country. I will let that sink in if it is news to you. Today we lost two of our own. Two men who clocked in, most likely thinking they would handle a few calls, a domestic or two, maybe get a couple traffic stops in, and hopefully have time to grab lunch at home. One man, was killed 24 years to the day his father was also killed in the line of duty. Kiss your husband or wife before work, do not leave an argument to be finished later.
