Collections from Japan include kosode dresses, noh costumes, modern court costumes as well as commoners’ costumes, bags and hair accessories, Shosoin and meibutsu textiles, and formal interior requisites. Collections from Europe include typical style dresses between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries, haute couture designer dresses, East European folk costumes, hats, shoes and bags, ancient textiles, and art nouveau glassware.
