College? Yes! Despite rising costs of tuition, overwhelming challenges of rigor and the appealing doors of freedom unattached to education after high school, college is still worth it. We spend our entire K-12 experiences inevitably preparing for it by underperforming, avoiding, complaining and procrastinating but also, succeeding, producing, strengthening and realizing our potential to attain one of the most important returns that college extend to us beyond high school, perspective. Apart from the standard jewels of degreed credentials and career training, perspective is a gem we discover in college enabling us to use our abilities to give voice to our values and become instrumental, not only in our careers, but in the world. With perspective, we are empowered to confront challenges, create options and exceed those limits of freedom we hope to have once we leave high school. With perspective, we define our purpose.
