College football playoff. Now that the college football regular season is officially over I am reiterating my proposal for an 8 team playoff and what it would look like. Someone pass this on to the powers that be so we can get this enacted. 1. Alabama vs 8. Michigan State 2. Oregon vs 7. Mississippi State 3. Florida State vs 6. TCU 4. Ohio State vs 5. Baylor On a side note, everyone knows the SEC is the best conference top to bottom as far as depth of quality teams but among the top 8 teams all the major conferences are equally represented. The top teams in all the major conferences are relatively close in talent in most years.
