College of DuPage Pre-Physician Assistant Club Presents My Admission to Physician Assistant School: One Student’s Journey Thursday, March 27th 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm SSC 3245 Preparing for and applying to Physician Assistant programs can be a daunting and confusing task. What kinds of volunteer and work experience best prepare you? What prerequisites are necessary? What does the ideal candidate for the school look like? On Thursday, March 27th, the Pre-Physician Assistant Club will have one student share his experiences, his preparation strategies, and some tips and techniques that helped him: • Get accepted into the Barry University PA Program Join other P-PAC members as we discuss any and all aspects of the admissions process, keys to preparing yourself for maximum appeal to the PA program of your choice, barriers you may encounter and how to overcome them, and any other question that you may have. The P-PAC is a club that is committed to informing students on how to become a physician assistant. It will discuss the process and transition from medical student to physician assistant, as well as provide guidance and support to students who choose to pursue a career in medicine.
