Collin County is conducting a Full-Scale Point of Dispensing (POD) Exercise that is being held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 10:15am-11:45am. This exercise will be held at Vines High School, 1401 Highedge Dr, Plano, TX, 75075. Teen volunteers will only be acting in a non-medical, supportive volunteer role. Volunteers will be asked to play victims or people in distress during this training drill. This exercise helps emergency management professionals prepare for disaster situations and the use of volunteers helps to create a real-life scenario.
