Columbus Area Arts Council hosted the Region 9 Grants Awards in September. You can view a summary of the awards given (many to Columbus-based arts organizations) in the latest Rural Alliance for the Arts newsletter. The Columbus Area Arts Council is one of 11 Regional Partners charged with implementing a statewide initiative developed by the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC). The Columbus Area Arts Council is the Regional Arts Partner for Region 9 and represents Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties. As a Regional Arts Partner, the Arts Council works closely with the IAC to provide grantsmaking and management of IAC funds, information and referrals, and technical assistance.
