Comcast tries to convince the Senate that merging with Time-Warner will actually offer consumers more choices and lower prices - because theyre not really in competition with Time-Warner. (Note that *this is the opposite stance* they took when acquiring NBC Universal, where they argued that TWC would still provide strong competition for them, assuaging any monopolistic fears) They convince Lindsay Graham, others maybe not so much.
