Come get your divine groove on THIS AFTERNOON at the casual class... WILD MOON by Wild Women! Today we will be dancing with the Temple Keeper archetype through some somatic practices, connection techniques, roving techniques, a bit of contact, soft groovy womens temple time, a bit of ecstatic dance... and a whole lot of FREEDOM movement. (A track by the magnificent Alice Spacedoll to get you in the opening flow.) The Temple Keeper archetype is the symbol of wholeness and a woman’s full potential as a deeply initiated woman. Her essential nature is pure awareness, alive and awake in an inhabited, ensouled woman’s body. Every woman carries this archetype of wholeness within her, and it is our birth-rite, our natural instinct, to unfold toward the fulfilment of what we truly are meant to be. The Temple Keeper stands in the centre ‘at the still point of the turning world’. She is both the dance and the stillness, the embodiment of opposites within that embrace everything. She is the circle whose centre is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere. The Temple Keeper is living embodied paradox. She and her shadow—she does have one as all humans do—embody all of the other feminine archetypes bright and shadow, even while she is awake and aware of the fact that she is awareness itself, becoming increasingly conscious of who and what she is.
